Papua Explorers Dive Resort, Raja Ampat

Papua Explorers Dive Resort

Papua Explorers Dive Resort was built using traditional Papuan construction methods and local-natural materials. The water bungalows were designed to be in perfect harmony with the exotic surrounding, allowing guests to feel the breeze from the rainforests, enjoy the songs of tropical birds and soothe their souls with flutter of the waves.

The little peninsula where the resort resides is also home to the endemic Red Bird of Paradise. This unique bird can be observed after an early morning hike in the rainforest. There is a pretty lake behind the resort that can be reached within five minutes hike in the jungle. This short jungle hike is an excellent way to observe amazing plants and creatures of the rainforest.

The bungalows blend traditional Papuan style with the comfort of modern design features. All bungalows are equipped with ensuite toilet, hot water shower, ceiling fan, mosquito net, working desk and a comfortable seating area. Spacious veranda with direct access to the sea allows guests to enjoy the sun and sea in their own privacy. Other features include 220 V electricity, in-room tea and coffee facilities, drinking water, environmentally friendly and natural soap.

The 300m2 over-the-sea restaurant and lounge was designed to offer a relaxing environment to enjoy various international and local dishes from the restaurant and to refresh and relax between dives.
