Dive Into Lembeh

Dive Into Lembeh (Hairball Resort) is nestled in Kasawari Bay, located on the main land of the famous Lembeh Strait, just off the north east coast of Sulawesi and is famous for its “muck diving”. The resort offering unspoiled views of Lembeh Island.

Diving in the Lembeh Strait means muck diving with a trained guide to show the weird rare critters such as Frog Fish, Hairy Frog Fish, Mimic Octopus, Blue Ringed Octopus, Banded Sea Snake, Mandarin Fish, Orangutan Crabs, Mantis Shrimps and many other that are hiding on the black volcanic sand, amongst patches of rubble and coral.

The Rooms

Dive Into Lembeh (Hairball Resort) has nine spacious sea view bungalows, each is provided with satellite TV, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, safe and semi-open ensuite bathroom with hot & cold water. Drinking water is provided in all bungalows in the form of a five gallon hot & cold water dispenser, with tea and coffee facilities. Each bungalow has its own Japanese Onsen (hot tub) on the veranda to warm up in at the end of your diving day.

The stand-alone bungalows have been laid out so that everybody has a great view of the sea. Each balcony has comfy bean bags await every guest to enjoy the view. All materials and labour for the construction of the bungalows was sourced locally.

Dining

All meals are served in the open air restaurant and bar. Great selection of local and international dishes freshly cooked everyday by experienced chefs.

For the evenings, a fire pit area with stunning and uninterrupted sea views of the Lembeh Strait always await guests to share their dive-of-the day experiences or just to hang out with some cold drinks.

The Dive Centre

Dive Into Lembeh’s fully equipped dive center has a spacious camera room with charging stations and dedicated camera rinse tanks. Dive gear locker with rinse tanks and showers are conveniently available. Well trained dive guides will assist camera handling hassle-free.

With a choice of more than 60 dive spots, their twin engine fiberglass dive boats would swiftly bring divers for their scheduled 3 day dives around Lembeh Strait.

After every dive the boats return to the resort, providing the luxury to enjoy surface interval by the swimming pool or make any camera adjustments for next dive.
A night dive by boat is available daily, providing the reservation of a minimum of two people.

Free access to their two world famous house reef dive sites (“Hairball” and “Aw Shucks”) from 07:30 AM – 18.00 PM is offered for any diving package booked (starting from four nights with three days diving).
